In this 4-hour course, security officers will learn the safe approach and technique to utilizing a baton on a threatening individual. Instructor will teach baton nomenclature, officer safety, target areas, drawing and gripping techniques, counter-strikes and shielding, and more. Policies will be reviewed so security officers know when they are permitted to utilize this tool.
